There is a single venue for the conference: Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest (36-46 Bd. Kogalniceanu, Bucharest)

 

Registration desk
The registration desk is located at the conference venue at the main entrance (in front of Aula Magna) and will be open as follows:

• Wednesday 08/09/2021: 11:00 -20:00

• Thursday 09/09/2021: 8:00 – 19:00

• Friday 10/09/2021: 8:00 – 19:00

• Saturday 11/09/2021: 9:00-13:00

 
The participants must first go to the registration desk to get their name badge, conference materials and certificate of attendance. A certificate of paper/poster presentation will be made upon request and can be collected on Friday.

Conference identification badges
You will be issued with an official conference badge when you register. You must wear this badge at all times during the conference to gain access to panel sessions and key events. Delegates not wearing a badge may be prevented from conference access.
 
Opening Plenary, ESC Awards Ceremony and Welcome Reception
You are warmly invited to attend the Opening Ceremony that takes place on Wednesday 08 September, starting at 18:00 in Aula Magna. This is followed by the ESC Awards Ceremony.
Afterwards, please join us at the Welcome Reception at 19:30 at the same venue. The Reception will be followed by a classical music concert by Traffic Strings in Aula Magna. 
 
Refreshment breaks
Water, coffee and tea will be provided for free during the coffee breaks in the Faculty building.
 
Poster session and ‘ice cream social’ (TBC)
You are invited to attend the Poster Session which takes place on Thursday 09 September, from 19:00 until 20:00.
 
Farewell dinner and party
We are excited to invite you to the Farewell dinner on Friday 10 September at 19:00. You are invited to taste typical Romanian food, delicacies and drinks. 
The dinner takes place at the Caru’ cu Bere restaurant in the Old Town. Tickets are available on https://www.eurocrim2021.com/farewell-party.

The final updated conference schedule and book of abstracts will be available on https://www.eurocrim2021.com/scientific-program  from 06 September 2021.

We have a team of volunteers providing assistance throughout the conference. They will be wearing turquoise conference t-shirts. Please do not hesitate to contact them if you require assistance.
 
Luggage, belongings and lost property
Please ensure that you keep your luggage and belongings in a safe and secure place at all times, and do not leave them unattended. University of Bucharest and the ESC cannot be held responsible if any items are lost or stolen.
Please report any items of lost property to the information or registration desk. Upon checkout, most hotels will allow you to store items of luggage in a locked room which can be collected later. If this option is available in your hotel then please make use of it.
