Information for Poster Presenters

Design

Poster headings must include the title of the presentation, the names of authors and their affiliation.

The poster should be a text size that will be easily legible from a short distance.

Graphs, pictures, etc. are an interesting addition.

The content of the presentation must reflect the summary of information given in the abstract.

Poster board dimensions will be 100 cm in width and 200 cm in length. We recommend a maximum poster size of 85 cm in width and 120 cm in length (A0 paper size). Please present your poster in portrait orientation.

 

Before the conference

Please note that you are solely responsible for looking after your poster prior to, during and after the conference. The organization does not accept posters by email or regular mail. You must bring it with you when you travel to Romania in a printed format.

 

Each poster will have a code allocated to it, for example P001, P059, P113, etc. You will find these codes in the programme one week prior to the conference. The code doesn’t have to be included in / printed on the poster, it will be printed on the board for the poster.

During the conference

Please ensure you adhere to the time slots below:

Poster set-up: Thursday, 12 September 2024 - 13:00 – 17:00

Poster session: Thursday, 12 September 2024 - 18:45 – 20:00

Poster removal: Thursday, 12 September 2024 - 20:00 – 21:00

Material for fastening the posters to the boards will be available.

Please note that, in case of rain, we may decide to move the Poster Session inside the building. In such a case (if you do not see the boards outside), please refer to the Info Desk and we will indicate you the place of the Poster Session. Participants will be guided towards this area by our staff.

Presenting authors are requested to be available at their posters during the Poster Session.

 

After the conference

Presenters are responsible for removing their posters when the Poster session is finished (the boards will be removed from the courtyard. If you wish to take your poster back, then you are responsible for storing it in a safe place. If you are not planning to take your poster back, we kindly request you to remove it after the Poster session ends. We are not responsible for the posters left there after the Poster session ends.
